It was a really amazing stay we had at Mayfair Gangtok. We were here to celebrate 25 years of togetherness. The staff was extremely courteous, Mr Shubham in the restaurant is very friendly and efficient and made us comfortable. The spread at the buffet was elaborate and delicious. Will like to visit again whenever possible

We stayed in MayFair Resort when we were in Gangtok. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was awesome. The staff were very hospitable and kind. They never say "No" for an answer. The property is very clean and beautiful.. Just sitting in the lounge looking at the flowers, having tea with the mountain view is priceless.. it relaxes and heals u from ur stress.. Because of this experience am going to Mayfair again at Kalimpong as well.. thanks for the lovely experience Mr.Pitabas Mohanty, Mr. Krishna Bauri and Ms Rashi and Mr. Subba, Mr. Rinks Lepcha and Ms. Kaholi ..... will visit again with larger family

Extremely bad hotel please avoid it

A) Rooms are not in good condition, we had to call the plumber from housekeeping to get the WC jet repaired B) Had to call the housekeeping to get room cleaned and readied C) since the hotel was far off from the city hence we had to eat the dinner every night there - but the food is bad, no taste D) The staff at Orchid restaurant they don’t listen to you, they just ignore you. Need whole lot of training E) Milk is just water - a place where I thought I will have good tea, had to sacrifice because of the bad - watery milk and it becomes worst at night F) Management had no concern for the peaceful night time of the guests - they allowed extremely loud outdoor party next to pool and just in front of our room which went on till 1030pm with high decibels despite complaint Only good thing in the hotel is the staff Renuka whose smile and trying to help us attitude softening our bad experiences

Amazing experience. The buildings are very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff are also very helpful. The swimming pool is perfectly sized, and has an in-built jacuzzi. The spa experience has also been very nice. The hotel premises also contains many temples and statues, and gives a feeling of serenity and tranquility. Definite 5/5.

The resort has been an excellent experience of the stay in gangtok...be it the spa...the good...the luxurious and yet affordable rooms...the hospitality and special mention to giri at front office and chief chef alankar in the restaurant...the resort captivated excellent view of the gangtok hill and the elegant spa services were mind blowing...if you are looking for a peaceful vacay at gangtok...this is a definite hit spot
